Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg

Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical / Oncology

Shift: Nights - Every other weekend required

Contract Length: 13–26 weeks accepted

Minimum 2 years RN experience in inpatient setting

Med/Surg experience required

Oncology chemotherapy certification (ONC cert) is required

BLS certification required

State license: NC or compact license pending allowed for submission; license must be in hand at start

Provide nursing care for patients with medical-surgical and oncology diagnoses

Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy safely, including IV, PO, and injection therapies

Manage patient care related to heparin and insulin drips

Monitor and maintain IV access, including ports and PICC lines

Conduct wound care management, including wound vac and ostomy care

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, supporting patient recovery and comfort

Orientation: 24 hours (2 shifts)

Floating required to similar units and alternate inpatient holding locations

No RTO allowed after booking; additional RTO/call-offs may result in cancel/DNR

Candidates must pass EKG testing prior to start
