This role centers on steady retail store deliveries, keeping you moving on regional loops across Southwest Florida without the burnout of being away from home.

The Details at a Glance

• Earnings: $0.43 to $0.51 per mile (based on experience), plus an extra $30 per load under 90 miles and $10 per completed stop. Drivers average around $1,300 gross per week (~$67,600 annually), with extra driver performance bonus potential.
• The Work: Delivering local grocery freight with live unloads at retail stores. You'll run roughly 2 runs per day logging ~2,200 miles per week, operating clean slip-seat daycabs shared with opposite-shift drivers.
• Schedule: Dedicated Night Shift, 100% local. Clock out and head straight back to your own home every single day.
• Workweek Options: 5-day schedules running Thursday–Monday OR Friday–Tuesday (weekend work is standard).
• Holidays: Expected to work holiday nights if they land on your regularly scheduled dispatch days, based on retail shipping needs.

What You Need to Apply

• Experience: Open to all experience levels!
  • Trainee Tier: 0 months experience welcome (must have a valid Class A CDL).
  • Experienced Tier: 6+ months of verifiable CDL-A tractor-trailer experience (local and OTR count).
  • (Note: Team operations and owner-operators are closed for this run).
• Licensing: Valid CDL-A and an up-to-date DOT Medical Card (no special endorsements required).
• Hiring Boundary: Must live within 25 miles of Zip Code 33982 (includes Port Charlotte, Cape Coral, Punta Gorda, Englewood, or North Port).
• Background & Screening: Solid driving record, clean work history, and mandatory drug screening.
