Medical Assistant - Bothell, WA

Candidates must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, as this role requires frequent coordination with outside facilities and physicians regarding patient care and information. The perfect candidate will have strong admin experience. Please call this experience out in the profile. If they do not have this experience, they will be redirected. Local candidates only (within 50 miles of clinic). Candidates must hold a valid WA MA license. Will accept new grads! Candidate must have all scheduling restrictions/limitations resolved prior to start (ie. childcare, transportation, etc). This role is full time 40hr/wk, and the clinic needs someone who can show up on time and as scheduled to provide excellent patient care.

WA MA-C License required. Address: 1909 214th Street SE, Ste 211, Bothell, WA 98021. Contract length: 13 weeks. Opportunity to convert to permanent employee if all goes well. Schedule: 5x8hr, Mon-Fri 0830-1700. Start date: ASAP. Years of experience required: 0. Will accept new grads!

Facility highlights

About: PacMed 65+ Health Center is a primary care model (clinic within a clinic) serving our elderly patients (age 62 and up), we are starting with 2 clinicians, and will need 2 MAs (standard MA workflow, working to the top of their scope) to help support the program. Value-based care, team model, goal is to minimize hospital admits/emergency department utilization for our complex patients. Type of facility: outpatient clinic (primary care). Scrub color: TBD. Charting: EPIC (experience preferred, but not required).
