Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise crews of journeyman electricians and apprentices on industrial projects.
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate electrical installations from start to finish.
  • Read, interpret, and enforce electrical plans, specifications, and NEC requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety standards and company policies on the jobsite.
  • Provide hands-on training and mentorship to apprentices and less-experienced electricians.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, contractors, and clients regarding job progress and issues.
  • Order materials, manage inventory, and track jobsite expenses.
  • Troubleshoot, test, and inspect electrical systems to ensure proper functionality.
  • Maintain productivity and quality standards across all phases of work.

Requirements:
  • Valid Journeyman Electrician License (required).
  • 3–5+ years of electrical experience, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of NEC, local codes, and safety regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and motivate crews.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Capable of lifting 50+ lbs and working in various jobsite conditions (outdoors, heights, confined spaces).
