System Engineer

Title: System Engineer- W2 (H4, TN, GC & Citizens)

Locations: Kennesaw, GA & Chicago, IL (3 days onsite 2 days remote - Look for nearby Candidates)

Duration: 12 Months

Description : Client is seeking a System Engineer with experience in Symphony Communications or other chat platforms like Mattermost or Rocket.Chat . The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Linux , SQL , and PostgreSQL .

Must-Have Skills:

Experience with Symphony Communications or similar chat platforms ( Mattermost, Rocket.Chat, etc. )
Strong knowledge of Linux system administration
Hands-on experience with SQL and PostgreSQL databases

Screening Questions: Must Be Answered And Attached To Top Of Resume

1. What are the tools/utilities used to backup/restore mysql /PostgreSQL databases?

2. How do you setup a replica/slave in mysql /PostgreSQL?

3. How do you troubleshoot performance issues in mysql /PostgreSQL?

4. What is the difference between GTID/Position based replication?
