KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Produce high-quality diagnostic MRI images per company/protocol, ARRT/ARMRIT and accreditation standards
- Perform patient safety pre-screening for contraindications; enforce MR zone/access restrictions for patients, staff, and visitors
- Start and discontinue peripheral IVs using aseptic technique; administer MR contrast (including via ports, CVLs, PICC lines as indicated); identify and escalate adverse reactions per protocol
- Operate MRI scanners; select appropriate coils/imaging techniques
- Demonstrate proficiency in EMR, PACS, and DICOM systems for image sharing/interpretation
- Maintain HIPAA confidentiality; communicate effectively with radiologists and the care team
REQUIREMENTS
Must-Have
- ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification (ARRT(R) with MR eligibility considered per contract)
- Texas MRT license (or applicable compact/state license)
- BLS/CPR certification (AHA or ARC)
- Minimum 1 2 years MRI experience
- Demonstrated contrast administration & venipuncture competency
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- 3 years MRI experience
