This role involves providing specialized critical care to patients in a 16-bed ICU/CCU setting. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day and should possess relevant certifications and experience in ICU nursing. Job Details Location: Bowling Green, Kentucky Certification and education requirements: Valid nursing license, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), NIH (National Institute of Health) certification Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week Required Qualifications: Licensure as a registered nurse, ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH certifications, COVID-19 vaccination preferred, no minimum years of experience required Additional Information: Flexibility with scheduling, teamwork environment, mix of experience with day and night shift Float: Float rotation may be required. Responsibilities include critical thinking, self-motivation, performing procedures such as central line insertions and dialysis catheter insertions, and documentation in Meditech EMR. Equipment used includes Impella monitors, temporary pacemakers, EKOS, IABP, Artic Sun, and hemodynamic monitoring systems.
