Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12s Weekly Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License Certifications: TNCC, BLS Must-Have: - TNCC - Trauma experience - STEMI experience Description: Located in a community hospital and regional referral center. The facility is Joint Commission Accredited with 171 beds. It is recognized as a Certified Chest Pain Center and Level 3 Trauma center. The patient population includes geriatric, adult, and some pediatric patients. The unit consists of 24 beds with a patient ratio of 1:4. Available equipment includes ultrasound, IV pumps, Glidescope, and monitors in every room. The Electronic Health Record system used is MedHost EDIS. The ideal candidate is approachable, works well within a team, asks for help when needed, takes initiative, and effectively uses idle time to assist others or contribute to the unit. Required education is an Associate's Degree. Dress code includes black scrubs. Candidates may be required to float within a 25-mile radius of the facility. Experience in various acuity levels of the mixed medical patient population is preferred.
