Position Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Outpatient Orthopedics Location 1499 6th Street NW, Winter Haven, FL 33881 Schedule PRN / As Needed, Monday-Friday Compensation $30 per hour About the Role Select Physical Therapy is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient orthopedic team in Winter Haven. Our center features a collaborative group of clinicians, including three Physical Therapists, two Physical Therapist Assistants, and two Occupational Therapists. We treat a wide range of outpatient orthopedic conditions across all ages, diagnoses, and insurance types. Patients include those with general orthopedic needs as well as individuals requiring neuro rehabilitation and fall‑prevention programs. Whether you are an experienced PTA or a new graduate, we welcome you to apply. Responsibilities Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act. Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures. Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff. Qualifications College graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE. Valid State Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License (or license in process). Minimum 2 years outpatient orthopedics experience. CPR Certification. #J-18808-Ljbffr Select Physical Therapy
