Registered Nurse (RN) MedSurg / Acute Care

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional, comprehensive nursing care to patients in an acute care environment. The RN is accountable for delivering coordinated, safe, compassionate, therapeutic, and evidence-based quality care to patients and families based on individual needs and appropriate care strategies throughout the lifespan. The RN practices in accordance with the applicable state Nurse Practice Act, the American Nurses Association (ANA) Code of Ethics for Nurses, and ANA scope and standards of practice. Specific responsibilities and skills are supported by the unit-specific onboarding checklist and applicable specialty standards.

Multiple openings are available for Acute Care RNs. Work Status & Shifts Available:

• Per Diem / On-Call: Variable
• Part Time: Day Shift

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive professional nursing care in an acute care environment.
• Deliver safe, coordinated, compassionate, therapeutic, and evidence-based patient care.
• Assess and address patients' physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
• Develop and implement appropriate care strategies throughout the patient lifespan.
• Coordinate care with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Practice in accordance with the applicable Nurse Practice Act.
• Follow the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses and ANA scope and standards of practice.
• Follow unit-specific clinical standards, onboarding requirements, and specialty-specific practices.
• Maintain high standards of patient safety, quality, and compassionate care.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Active Montana Registered Nurse (RN) License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS American Heart Association upon hire.
• Provider ACLS American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
• Provider PALS American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
• 1 year of nursing experience .

Preferred Qualifications:

National certification in the applicable specialty upon hire, unless otherwise indicated.
