Hematology and/or Medical Oncology Physician

The physician will perform all duties of a hematologist and/or medical oncologist. The physician will see patients at the Adventist Health Rideout Cancer Center in Marysville, CA and admitted patients at Adventist Health Rideout Hospital in Marysville, CA. This is a UC Davis Health Cancer Care Network site.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid California Medical License.
• DEA License.
• Board Certified in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology.
• MD or DO Degree.
• Completed a medical internship at an accredited institution.
• Completed a residency program in Internal Medicine at an accredited institution.
• Completed a medical fellowship in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology.
• Experience performing functions of a hematologist and/or medical oncologist.

Skills required include the ability to manage the care of medical patients with complex conditions and broad range of illnesses and function effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team. Knowledge required includes a good understanding of the common diseases that clinical physicians deal with on a daily basis. The incumbent must be experienced with and have a good understand of the health care systems in which they work and how to manage their patients' care needs. Abilities/competencies required include being able to function in a professional manner with regards to patients, families, colleagues; comply with all medical staff policies and procedures; and to be an effective communicator with a broad range of people.

Salary or Pay Range: $475,000 - $511,700 Salary Frequency: Annual, paid monthly Salary Grade: UC99
