Position Summary The Data Analytics Analyst will be responsible for storytelling with data to support the generation of data-driven decisions with compelling visualizations. The Analyst will serve our organization by translating data into high-value insights for our team and their leaders. The ideal candidate will have a deep data curiosity, high language creativity, and a passion for delivering different data in various story presentations, whether through traditional charts or automated paragraphs. Position Responsibilities Provide insights to support business decisions, primarily by performing root cause, exploratory, sensitivity, scenario analysis, and data visualization to identify patterns/trends/insights, etc., on predefined problems. Create summary data presentation materials to interpret, capture, and convey key trends and insights to help stakeholders leverage data in decision making. Extract and analyze big data across commercial channels and functions, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement, using summarization of information to deliver on‑point analysis and quick views of data. Develop an understanding of all parts of our business, to guarantee the department’s delivery of information is contextually grounded and accurate. Receive and respond to internal requests for custom Power BI reports. Perform ongoing data validations to ensure sales agreement and data quality. Continually monitor enhancements to data visualization tools or emerging technologies. Provide project management support on internal projects for the department, including, but not limited to, project meeting facilitation, meeting notes, and following‑up on action items. Support field training of visualization reports, both during deployment and maintenance. Identify and cleanse, when applicable, data inconsistencies throughout systems, including but not limited to quoting system, billing system, job management system, and job scheduling system. Provide recurring weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting to various levels and functions in the organization. Other job duties as assigned. Education Bachelor’s degree required, an emphasis in data analytics, mathematics, statistics, or similar preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Bachelor’s degree required, an emphasis in data analytics, mathematics, statistics, or similar preferred. Experience 3+ years of related experience preferred. Experience with data extraction, cleansing, and normalization of data inconsistencies. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook. Proficient knowledge of MS Excel and Visual Basic Suite, including code writing for the automation of processes preferred. Experience with data visualization tools, Power BI required, Tableau preferred. Experience in presenting business data insights and findings in an easily digestible way for leadership teams. 1+ years of experience with SQL and sublanguages such as BigQuery SQL and MS SQL and R programming languages. Other Skills Coachable, strong desire to learn, and enthusiasm for creating customers for life. Ability to use critical and creative thinking to identify and resolve issues when they occur. Assessing, coaching, and developing talent and managing multi‑location team members. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Pay and Benefits Disclosure The pay range for this role is $60,000-75,000 per year and is based on experience and qualifications.
