MRI Technologist (Per Diem, Days/Evenings)-Enhanced Rates

Under the supervision of the MRI Supervisor, technologists operate state‑of‑the‑art MRI scanners to deliver exceptional imaging for diagnostic and treatment purposes, working in a collaborative, supportive, and innovative environment. Key Responsibilities Operate state‑of‑the‑art MRI scanners to deliver exceptional imaging for diagnostic and treatment purposes. Work collaboratively in a supportive and innovative environment. Adhere to safety standards set forth by the Radiology Department, BMC, and other regulatory agencies. Maintain a positive team‑oriented attitude and professional appearance. Communicate effectively with patients, students, and staff technologists. Handle frequent interruptions, adapt to changes in workload, set priorities, solve problems, and respond quickly to emergency requests. Key Qualifications Graduate of an approved school that fulfills ARRT requirements for primary or secondary pathway education in MRI. ARRT registered. BLS required. MRI advanced certification required or obtained within one year of employment. Experience in MRI preferred. MRI‑specific classroom experience a plus. Knowledge of cross‑sectional anatomy and medical terminology with analytical skills to utilize knowledge toward imaging processes, techniques, and procedures. Working knowledge of Radiology Information Systems (RIS) and Hospital Information Systems (HIS). Ability to rely on experience, judgment, and time‑management skills to plan and accomplish goals. Ability to adhere to safety standards and assist in maintaining equipment. Schedule & Compensation Schedule: Per Diem, As Needed, Days/Evenings. Non‑Benefit Eligible Compensation Range: $42.93–$63.79.
