Unit Overview

• 34-bed Adult Med-Surg/Telemetry (A4 West)
• Patient Ratios:
  • Days: 1:4–6
  • Nights: 1:5–7
• EMR: Cerner
• Strong team support with Charge RN, CNAs, and HUC

‍⚕️ Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms
• Provide care for med-surg and trauma patients
• Administer IV fluids, antibiotics, tube/PEG feedings
• Identify changes in patient condition and escalate care appropriately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal outcomes 

Ideal Candidate

• 2+ years RN experience (Telemetry/Med-Surg required)
• ❤️ Strong telemetry interpretation skills
• ⚡ Excellent critical thinking & time management
• Team player with strong communication skills 

Requirements

• BLS from AHA – Required
• ACLS – Preferred
• Comfortable floating to other Med-Surg units 

️ Schedule Details

• Night Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• Every other weekend required
• 13-week assignment
