What You Will Do:

• The intern will be mentored by the Assembly Equipment Engineering Supervisor, Design Chief and Design team and will engage in the duties listed below:
• Learn about Pratt & Whitney engines, the assembly and disassembly process, and the custom assembly equipment utilized in building engines.
• Put engineering knowledge into work helping solve real-world, mechanical engineering-based problems.
• Learn and utilize Siemens NX CAD and ANSYS Workbench software for modeling, drafting and analyzing custom assembly equipment designs.
• Demonstrate commitment to safety and continuous improvement programs by complying with all policies and procedures and completing all required training.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering or Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship.co-op session

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Experience with Computer Aided Design applications such as Siemens NX, AutoCAD, Solidworks, and CATIA.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
