Mechanic

Hull's is looking for a diesel mechanic who is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repairs of company vehicles. Job Duties and Responsibilities Schedule and ensure required inspections of company vehicles are performed and meet the desired standard Perform routine maintenance/repairs on company vehicles crucial to the safe operation of the fleet Schedule and ensure that all safety related repairs and driver requested repairs are performed daily Protect the health and welfare of all employees by enforcing best fleet safety practices Keep tools, equipment and shop area clean and organized and in good working condition Complete and submit company forms; work orders, purchased parts/equipment, fleet records, etc. Must be willing to work beyond normal work hours, must be available for night-time/weekend work Understand and comply with all DOT regulations and applicable laws Comply with on-going and random drug testing/physicals as required by the Company Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent required 3 years in the mechanic trade; to include small and large vehicles and equipment. ASE certification a plus Must have own tools (company to purchase specialty tools) Commercial Driver License with clean driving record preferred Must be able to drive both automatic and standard transmission vehicles Work requires heavy lifting, manual labor #J-18808-Ljbffr
