Step into an enriching school-based contract position supporting student success with two immediate onsite opportunities for School Psychologists in the San Tan Valley, AZ area. With placements available at both an elementary and a high school, this dynamic role invites passionate professionals dedicated to mental health, assessment, and collaborative problem-solving.

Opportunities available:

• Florence Elementary School—Full-time, working with approximately 564 students (90 in special education), overseeing 7 re-evaluations.
• San Tan Foothills High School—Full-time, serving 824 students (176 in special education), managing 64 re-evaluations.Both roles are set to begin as soon as possible and will continue through late May 2027.

Desired qualifications:

• Valid School Psychologist credential or eligibility for certification in Arizona
• Master’s or specialist degree in School Psychology
• Background in psychoeducational assessment, individualized education planning, and intervention strategies
• Strong understanding of diverse student populations and special education processes
• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
• Experience in a school setting is highly valued

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and re-evaluations
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective IEPs
• Support positive behavioral interventions and student counseling
• Deliver expert consultation to staff regarding academic and social-emotional supports
• Maintain thorough records and comply with state and federal regulations
• Provide crisis intervention and help foster a safe school climate
