Part-time Hygiene Coordinator
Mountain View Dental – Ruidoso, NM

Pay: $15-$18/hr.

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday

Mountain View Dental Alamogordo is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Dental Receptionist / Hygiene Coordinator to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping patients, thrives in a fast-paced dental office, and excels at keeping schedules organized while providing exceptional customer service.

As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in creating a positive patient experience while supporting the hygiene department through scheduling coordination, patient communication, and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide a welcoming, professional experience

• Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with scheduling needs

• Coordinate and maintain hygiene schedules to maximize efficiency

• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments

• Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes

• Verify and update patient information in the practice management system

• Communicate with patients regarding upcoming appointments and continuing care visits

• Manage appointment reminders, cancellations, and schedule adjustments

• Support office operations through administrative and clerical tasks

• Work collaboratively with doctors, hygienists, and team members to ensure a smooth patient experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Dental front office or scheduling experience

• Experience coordinating patient appointments

• Knowledge of dental terminology and insurance processes

• Familiarity with dental practice management software
