The candidate will use computer assisted engineering design software and equipment to accomplish goals. Key Responsibilities: Design DC to DC switching power supplies. Designs are high current (>100A), high power (>250W), polyphase, and digitally microcontroller controlled. Analog simulation & analysis of DC-DC switching power supplies. (Buck SMPS) Select components, design & enter schematics, create BOMs, and propose PCB placements. Implement microcontroller code to control power supplies. Write test programs to verify hardware. Leadership of a small team through projects and coordinate with other departments. Design validation process. Provide template for internal and external diagnostics. Develops user manuals that include detailed how-to, maintenance and troubleshooting. Collaborates with Sales team and customers to define product requirements. Performs all other related duties as requested or assigned. Required Qualifications: 5+ years relevant engineering experience. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience in related field. Ability to work cooperatively as a team leader, team member, and independently. Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills. Up to 5% domestic and international travel. Preferred Qualifications: 10+ years relevant engineering experience. Master's degree in Electrical Engineering. Thermal control experience.
