Occupational Therapist School Setting - Elkin, NC

Key Qualifications:

• Current Occupational Therapist (OT) license valid for the state of North Carolina
• Experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
• Familiarity with IEP development, documentation, and goal-setting
• Strong communication skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to adapt strategies to meet diverse student needs across multiple schools

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine students' therapy needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions in accordance with IEPs
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to facilitate students' progress toward their goals
• Deliver therapy services individually and in groups, adapting techniques for developmental stages
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress reports
