Crown Macro Letter is a subscription market research publication. It serves retail and professional traders. The platform includes a weekly newsletter, a podcast, and short-form video. Every product delivers macro analysis and actionable trade ideas with defined entries, exits, and risk sizing.
The Role
The Video and Content Editor Intern turns raw material into finished content across every channel. The intern edits podcast episodes, cuts video, and repurposes long-form content into clips, posts, and emails. This is a production seat.
Responsibilities
- Edit podcast episodes for audio quality, pacing, and length.
- Cut short-form clips from podcast and video recordings for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikTok, LinkedIn, and X.
- Edit short promotional and sales videos from finished scripts.
- Add captions, lower thirds, charts, and branded graphics.
- Copyedit and proofread the weekly newsletter and daily marketing emails.
- Repurpose newsletter and podcast content into social posts and email teasers.
- Maintain the content calendar and organize the asset library.
- Track performance on views, opens, clicks, and conversions. Flag what works.
Qualifications
- Current undergraduate or graduate student, or recent graduate. Film, media, journalism, communications, or finance preferred.
- Hands-on skill in Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or Premiere pro
- Working knowledge of audio editing tools such as Descript, Audition, or Riverside.
- A sharp eye for pacing. Knows how to find the 1:30 seconds that matter in a 45-minute recording.
- Clean writing and strong grammar.
- Interest in markets and finance. Market knowledge is a plus, not a requirement.
- Meets hard deadlines in a fast daily cycle.
Nice to Have
- Experience with After Effects or motion graphics.
- Familiarity with Canva, Figma, or similar design tools.
- A portfolio of short-form social content with measurable results.
- Experience on a podcast or YouTube channel.
