Position: Behavior Technician (Behavior Respite Program) Locations: Concord, Martinez, and additional openings in Alameda & Contra Costa Counties. Job Type: Part-Time or Full-Time (In‑Person). Salary: $27 - $31 per hour. Mileage Reimbursement: $0.70 per mile for travel between clients. Flexible Scheduling: Afternoons, evenings, and weekends available! What You’ll Be Doing Engage Clients in Fun & Meaningful Activities – Play games, go for walks, do crafts, or participate in activities that promote positive interactions and structured engagement, with less stress on contriving opportunities for learning or targeting skill acquisitions. Help Prevent Challenging Behaviors Before They Start – Learn and apply proactive behavior strategies or antecedent‑based intervention to keep sessions fun, calm, and productive. Provide Caregiver Relief & Support – Give parents and caregivers a much‑needed break, ensuring their loved ones are in safe and caring hands. Receive Hands‑On Training & Support – Work directly with BCBAs and Mid‑Level Supervisors who will guide and mentor you.
