Job Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed patient evaluations, performing comprehensive physical assessments and reviewing medical histories thoroughly
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through careful interpretation of imaging studies and lab results
• Collaborate intimately with surgeons to develop and administer individualized surgical treatment strategies
• Provide intraoperative support by preparing operating environments, positioning patients, and facilitating the surgical process
• Ensure exceptional pre-operative and post-operative care, including administering medications, wound care management, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preference given to candidates with surgical rotations completed

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
