Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Experience in school-based occupational therapy and/or home health is highly desired
• Ability to adapt interventions to match each student’s unique needs and educational goals
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and other professionals
• Familiarity with educational documentation, goal writing, and progress monitoring
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to district policies and relevant regulations

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
• Deliver direct interventions and consultation services in both school and home settings
• Assist teachers and family members in implementing strategies that promote student participation and independence
• Monitor student progress, documenting outcomes and adjusting approaches as needed
• Attend team meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) development
• Support a positive, inclusive learning environment by advocating for necessary accommodations
