Machine Operator Details:

• Temporary position
• $23.13/hour
• Full Time work available
• Various shifts available

This entry-level position is crucial to our production process, involving hands-on operation of machinery, quality inspection, and adherence to strict safety standards within a demanding industrial environment.

• Operate manufacturing machinery and equipment in accordance with established procedures.
• Perform visual quality inspections on products and materials, utilizing gauges to ensure specifications are met.
• Engage in basic preventative maintenance tasks for machinery and equipment.
• Effectively communicate with team members, supervisors, and other shifts regarding operational status, issues, and production goals.
• Apply problem-solving skills to address minor operational issues and production challenges.
• Physical Demands: Must possess hearing ability and visual acuity (with corrective lenses as needed) to safely operate machinery and perform detailed inspections.
• Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D. required. Experience: 0-1 years of experience of machine operating experience.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on visual quality inspection.
• Basic understanding of gauges. Familiarity with grinders.

Ability to frequently lift and move materials and products weighing up to 70 pounds independently. Capability to stand, bend, twist, push, pull, climb stairs/ladders, stoop, crouch, and reach at or below shoulder level throughout a 12-hour shift. Requires gross and fine manipulation with hands.
