Billing Specialist

About the Role:

IconicCare is bringing our Revenue Cycle Management in-house, and we are looking for an experienced Medical Biller to be a cornerstone of this new team. This isn't just a 'data entry' role. You will be instrumental in helping refine and build our billing process from the ground up. We are looking for someone who is fueled by results!

This role is required to work out of our Lehi, UT office regularly. Please do not apply unless you can reasonably commute to the Lehi, UT office daily.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full cycle billing including claim creation, submission, and follow-up for professional claims
• Navigate the nuances of billing across multiple states, ensuring compliance with varying payer rules and state mandates
• Handle billing for multiple types of services and ability to learn more quickly
• Aggressively work denials, rejections, and appeals to ensure maximum and timely reimbursement
• Accurately post insurance and patient payments as well as identifying and resolving credit balances or overpayments

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 3+ years of full scope billing experience
• Proven track record with professional claims
• Experience billing multiple state is highly preferred
• Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems and deep understanding of clearinghouses
• Comfortable working in a 'build-out' environment where processes are being established in real time
