Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical/Surgical Telemetry. We are dedicated to providing quality and compassionate healthcare across a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in a medical/surgical telemetry unit.
• Assess and monitor patient's conditions, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses and treatment plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license to practice in North Carolina.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), Handle with Care (HWC), or Management of Actual or Potential Aggression (MAB) certification.
• National Institutes of Health (NIH) Stroke Scale certification.
• 1-2 years of nursing experience in a telemetry or medical/surgical setting preferred.
