Medical Assistant – OBGYNShift: 8 hours between 06:00–18:00. No weekend requirement. Floating as needed.Patient population: Adults; women's reproductive health.Requirements:2 years experience in an outpatient clinic setting.1 year specific OBGYN clinic experience.Proven venipuncture/blood draw experience.Medical Assistant diploma from a DAPIP-accredited program.BLS (AHA or ARC only).High School diploma or GED.Experience with Pap smears and routine OB/GYN procedures.Experience with Epic EMR system.Responsibilities:Rooming patients and obtaining vital signs and patient histories.Specimen collection and support for OB/GYN procedures.Administration of medications and immunizations.Perform glucometer testing and telephone triage.Follow-up calls to patients as needed.Compliance / Notes:Must provide two supervisor-level references from within the past year at time of submission.Client Details City Los Angeles State CATLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is an equal-opportunity employer and fully complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
