Machine Operator 1 (3rd Shift 10pm-6am) Onsite

What You Will Do Operate a variety of production machines such as CMM, polishing wheel, grinding machines, EDM, and other equipment. Perform routine operations and follow process sheets. Deburr and clean parts as required. Make minor offset changes under supervision. Utilize measuring devices and assess product acceptance based on blueprint specifications. Carry out preventative maintenance and document results. Complete Daily Walk Around (DWA) and maintain a communication log. Move frequently around the machine line (approximately 90% of the time) to operate various manufacturing equipment. Transport product or equipment weighing up to 10 pounds. Run all equipment in the entire work loop to produce product at the required standard work rate. Complete additional tasks as needed within the scope and skill level of the position to support department objectives and develop your skills. Hiring is for the 3rd shift, though training may occur on a different shift. You Must Have High School Diploma or equivalent. U.S. citizenship (required for access to information under this program/contract). Proficiency with machine tools and precision measuring instruments. Strong mathematical aptitude, including the ability to read and work from blueprints and drawings. We Prefer At least 1 year of machine operator experience.
