Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse in Kingwood, Texas. This position involves providing critical patient care in a fast-paced emergency department. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering quality care, maintaining unit policies, and working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Competency in acute emergency room experience, with certifications including TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and BLS (Basic Life Support). Valid licensure to practice as a registered nurse in the state of Texas.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with trauma procedures such as IV starts, blood draws, resuscitation, and EKG.
• Additional Information: Work four weekend shifts per month; no on-call responsibilities. The unit has 28 beds, with a patient ratio of 4:1, and utilizes Meditech electronic medical records. The team includes 10 registered nurses, 2-3 technicians, and 1 unit secretary during both day and night shifts. The ideal candidate is active and personable.
