Step into a pivotal role influencing student success and staff development as a Behavior Specialist supporting K-12 learners in a dynamic educational setting near Philadelphia, PA. This full-time, onsite opportunity runs from August 24, 2026, through June 10, 2027, offering a consistent 35-hour workweek working directly within district schools.

In this position, you will:

• Train new staff on instructional practices for students with Autism
• Lead all-staff trainings on student-specific behavior intervention plans
• Conduct refresher sessions on updated behavioral procedures
• Support classrooms in establishing effective student Verbal Repertoires
• Model and reinforce evidence-based strategies through direct classroom involvement
• Collaborate on scheduling, assessment, and logistics for autism support teams
• Review and facilitate understanding of IEPs, BIPs, and related documentation
• Be present and responsive during the key start-of-year period for staff and students
• Work alongside PaTTAN consultants to align practices with the Tiered Implementation Inventory
• Conduct in-vivo coaching and demonstrations for instructional teams
• Ensure implementation fidelity of individualized student programs
• Provide corrective feedback and monitor ongoing use of best practices
• Lead skill transfer from anchor classrooms to other autism support environments

Qualifications include:

• Valid Pennsylvania educator certification in Special Education or a related discipline
• Comprehensive knowledge of evidence-based practices for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Experience in autism support or special education settings, preferably in urban schools
• Ability to complete all Pennsylvania clearances
• School-based experience and comfort working within district guidelines
• Reliable transportation and availability between 7:15AM–4PM (no schedule accommodation)
