Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist

Carlsbad Animal Clinic – Carlsbad, New Mexico Part-Time | Potential for Full-Time Growth $12–$16/hour DOE Carlsbad Animal Clinic is seeking an experienced veterinary professional to join our growing single-doctor practice. We are looking for someone with veterinary technician and/or assistant experience who is comfortable helping in both clinical and client service roles. Responsibilities Include: Assisting with exams, treatments, surgery, and patient care Restraining patients, collecting lab samples, and performing basic technical skills Answering phones, scheduling appointments, and client communication Checking patients in/out and maintaining accurate medical records Supporting daily hospital operations and cleanliness Educating clients on medications, preventive care, and treatment plans Processing invoices and payments Qualifications: Veterinary clinic experience required Veterinary technician/assistant experience strongly preferred Strong communication and multitasking skills Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented AVImark experience is a plus This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, wants to grow with a practice, and values teamwork and quality patient care.
