Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to assess their physical capabilities and develop comprehensive treatment plans. Implement a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities tailored to individual patient needs, ensuring a holistic approach to physical rehabilitation. Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes. Provide expert consultation and education to patients and their caregivers, empowering them to take active roles in their recovery processes. Demonstrate exceptional customer service through effective communication and teamwork, contributing significantly to the overall patient experience. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care delivery and maximize rehabilitation outcomes. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest treatment protocols and industry advancements to provide the highest quality care. Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will work closely with a diverse patient population, addressing a range of complexities from orthopedic injuries to neurological conditions. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the recovery journey of pediatric and sports medicine patients, thereby expanding your clinical expertise in various specialties. Your understanding of individual patient needs and experiences will be pivotal in fostering confidence and motivation throughout their rehabilitation process. Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required, with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred. A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia. Current Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association. Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with proficiency in relevant technology and software. Preferred Experience Qualified candidates should have a minimum of two years of clinical experience in physical therapy, ideally within a rehabilitation setting. Compensation and Benefits This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience.
