Principal AI Engineer

Setting the technical direction for complex Generative AI projects, the full-time remote Principal AI Engineer will architect and build scalable systems, lead multi-step reasoning workflows, and collaborate with client leadership to translate business strategies into AI solutions. Key responsibilities: Own the architecture for complex GenAI systems and establish evaluation and observability standards Engage in hands-on development, focusing on foundation-model fine-tuning and advanced RAG workflows using Python on Google Cloud Advise clients and shape pre-sales solutions, serving as the technical authority in engagements Required qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field 10+ years of experience in software, AI, or ML engineering with a proven track record of delivering AI systems to production Demonstrated technical leadership in setting architectural direction across engagements Experience deploying GenAI or agentic products in production environments Strong data engineering skills and knowledge of SQL
