Title: RM - SAP Acquire-to-Retire (A2R) Lead

Location: Irving, TX (Hybrid - 3 days/week in office)

POSITION OVERVIEW

The SAP Acquire-to-Retire (A2R) Lead will oversee the end-to-end delivery of enhancements, stabilization efforts, and process optimization across the fixed asset lifecycle. This role partners closely with cross-functional business stakeholders, AMS, project, reporting, and integration teams to address operational pain points and improve reporting visibility. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in SAP Asset Accounting (FI-AA) and enterprise integrations to drive continuous improvement in asset accounting operations.

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand operational pain points, process inefficiencies, and reporting needs across Acquire-to-Retire.
• Lead end-to-end delivery for A2R enhancements and stabilization efforts including requirements gathering, functional design, technical coordination, SIT/UAT testing support, deployment, and hypercare.
• Support stabilization and optimization across fixed asset accounting, capitalization, asset acquisitions, transfers, retirements, and disposals.
• Oversee Construction-in-Progress (CIP/CWIP) processes, asset settlements, depreciation, period-end asset accounting, and Asset Retirement Obligations (ARO).
• Manage Maximo integrations and upstream/downstream interfaces to ensure smooth data flows and operational visibility.
• Coordinate across AMS, project, reporting, integration, and business teams to assist with backlog prioritization, sizing, defect resolution, and roadmap planning.

• Fixed asset lifecycle processing (Acquisitions, Transfers, Retirements, Disposals) 8+ years
• CIP/CWIP and settlement processing 8+ years
• Depreciation and period-end close management 8+ years
• Asset accounting integrations & Maximo upstream/downstream interfaces 8+ years

CANDIDATE PROFILE

An experienced SAP Financials Lead with a high level of expertise in S/4HANA Finance and Asset Accounting (FI-AA). Demonstrates strong stakeholder management skills and hands-on experience navigating complex enterprise integrations like Maximo. Self-driven and analytical, capable of leading cross-functional teams to resolve operational bottlenecks and streamline A2R processes.

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate across AMS, integration, project, and business teams to manage defect resolution, backlog prioritization, and roadmap execution.
