Janitor $17.00/hr. + 7% quarterly incentive 1st Shift (7:00am - 3:30pm)

Janitor Kokomo We are currently searching for a Janitor to be based out of Kokomo, IN. Reporting to Maintenance Supervisor, this person will be responsible for general cleaning and maintaining all areas in good condition. What you'll do: Adherence to Atkore Safety / Life Saving Rules is paramount Demonstrate core values Clean all areas of the office, break room, locker room, bathrooms, and production areas Maintain building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming Clean and supply restrooms Removing waste and empty trash Organize janitorial storage areas and keep supplies stocked Maintain a cleaning chart indicating areas that were cleaned Notify supervisors about unsafe conditions or the need for repairs or maintenance All duties as instructed by supervision What you'll bring: High school degree or GED equivalent 1-3 years of Janitorial experience Willingness to work in an industrial manufacturing environment Must be able to do physical work and operate power equipment normally found in janitorial operations Flexibility of shift schedule including overtime and weekends Must possess an outgoing positive attitude, be a team player, and have strong work ethic Within 3 months, you'll: Report and keep inventory of consumable supplies utilized for the position Have obtained full knowledge, timing, and understanding of the facility to complete necessary tasks efficiently Accurately report inventory levels of consumable items used in operation of this position As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $[recruiting min.] to $[recruiting max.].
