Experienced Escrow Officer

Sonic Title Agency is seeking an experienced Escrow Officer to join our growing team.

This is a high-accountability position requiring exceptional attention to detail, consistent follow-up, and the ability to keep closing files moving accurately and on schedule. The Escrow Officer will manage each assigned file from closing scheduling through post-closing review and handoff.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule closings and coordinate with the appropriate closer or notary
• Balance settlement figures with lenders and other applicable parties
• Prepare complete and accurate closing packages
• Verify names, payees, and disbursement information in our system
• Review completed closing packages to confirm that all required documents have been properly signed, initialed, dated, and notarized
• Promptly obtain any missing documents or corrections
• Distribute completed document packages to the appropriate parties
• Notify the disbursement team when a file is complete and ready for disbursement
• Submit recordable documents to the post-closing team
• Maintain clear communication with internal team members and outside parties throughout the closing process
• Take ownership of assigned files and follow through until all responsibilities are completed

Qualifications

• Previous title or escrow experience is required
• Experience balancing settlement statements and preparing closing packages
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Dependable, accountable, and committed to following through
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Compensation is $55,000-$78,000 based on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package is available.
