Graphic Designer

Select Design is looking for a Graphic Designer to join our creative team on-site in Burlington, VT. This role sits between concept and production, ideal for someone with strong natural design instincts who can think creatively and execute at a high level. We are looking for a designer with a sharp eye for current trends and culture, who can design with real-world application in mind and bring ideas to life across merchandise and retail POS/POP displays. This person should be just as comfortable building a strong concept deck as they are stepping into mockups or supporting production work. A few things to know: The work is a mix of collaborative and independent. You should be comfortable owning projects while also providing support to the team A positive, solutions-oriented mindset matters here. We move fast and support each other No two projects are the same. You need to be flexible and willing to jump in where needed Strong ideas matter, but so does follow-through and execution Portfolio required for consideration This is an on-site role. Our team works and collaborates at our Burlington, VT headquarters What you’ll do: Develop concept directions, mood boards, and inspiration decks that feel fresh, relevant, and show clear creative thinking Design with real-world context in mind. Understand product end-use, audience, and how products and physical displays live in real world environments Create mockups that feel elevated and client-ready, with attention to scale, dimension, and realism Develop graphic solutions and execute campaign deliverables across a variety of brand touch points including (custom product, merchandise, apparel, POS/POP displays, signage, etc.) Support production design when required, creating accurate mechanical files for a variety of applications and vendors, both domestic and overseas Collaborate with senior designers and creative leads on larger initiatives Take ownership of smaller projects and run with them independently Stay tapped into trends across culture, fashion, and retail Bring strong ideas to the table and elevate the work around you What we’re looking for: Strong innate design sense. You know what looks good and why Clear understanding of current trends, aesthetics, and cultural signals Ability to design beyond the page. You think about placement, scale, and environment Experience creating compelling concept decks before jumping into execution Comfortable flexing between conceptual thinking and technical execution Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite Working knowledge of AI tools and/or 3D design to elevate mockups is a plus Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt as priorities shift Positive, team-first attitude with strong communication skills Select is an equal opportunity employer and highly values diversity.
