Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Belleville, Illinois.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Telemetry\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: 10/05/2026\n Duration: 16 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, nights\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs\n Hours: 36 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Oct 5, 2026\n Length: 16 weeks\n Openings: 1\n Description\n American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN - Telemetry for a night shift position requiring 2+ years of experience and IL RN licensure in hand at time of submission.Details\n \n Telemetry unit within an acute care Magnet-designated hospital\n Night shift, 3x12 hours, 18:45-07:15\n Patient ratio of 1:5-6\n Every other weekend required\n No on-call responsibilities\n Float required within scope to 2 South, MS Tele, 3 South, 1C, Shiloh Memorial Hospital, and other units within the facility\n Uses EPIC charting system\n Requirements\n \n Active IL RN license required in hand at time of consideration\n BLS and ACLS certifications required\n Minimum 2 years of experience required\n EPIC charting experience required\n Experience with cardiac drips (management required, titration preferred)\n Skilled in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and emergency response\n Experience with pre and post cardiac catheterization care\n Experience assisting with bedside procedures including line insertion and thoracentesis\n Skilled in STEMI/NSTEMI and CHF care\n IV therapy and phlebotomy skills including starting and maintaining IVs\n Respiratory care skills including nasal cannula management\n Additional Information\n \n Provide telemetry monitoring and cardiac care for assigned patient population\n Assist with bedside procedures including line insertions and thoracentesis\n Navy scrub color required\n No local candidates accepted within a 75-mile radius\n Maximum RTO of 7 days within a 13-week contract, with no RTO permitted during the first week of assignment\n First-time travelers are welcome to apply\n Standard travelers may stay up to 18 months, followed by a required 3-month break in service\n Permanent employees of the health system must wait 1 year before returning to any facility within the system as a traveler\n No parking costs\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-753138.
