Material Coordinator

Job Overview Anchor Packaging, a Georgia Pacific company, is looking for a Material Coordinator at the Jonesboro, AR facility. The primary responsibility is to receive raw materials, distribute product and equipment within the warehouse and production area, complete receiving/production paperwork and Oracle transactions, and provide safe work instructions to warehouse workers and material handlers. Responsibilities Move raw materials and stock in warehouse or manufacturing facility, shipping lines, and other storage areas using forklift and material handling equipment. Provide safe work direction and schedules to Warehouse Workers and Material Handlers to ensure smooth operations. Receive and stock products from manufacturers and wholesalers, operating scanners and warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Utilize forklifts and pallet jacks. Coordinate and schedule on-time deliveries of raw material with vendors and purchasing via e-mail, phone, and fax. Coordinate all supply chain movements between facilities, ensuring silo levels are recorded daily and meet production requirements. Ensure accurate quantities of product received by comparing paperwork and matching product numbers, resolving discrepancies and filing records. Ensure all product safety and product defense policies and procedures are followed and documented. Complete daily audits of equipment, scanners, and receiving area facilities. Enter work orders for repairs and help desk tickets for IT issues as needed. Input material information into Oracle for inventory tracking to assure accuracy and completeness. Identify product shortages/damages upon receipt and report to management. Schedule all raw material deliveries to the plant. Qualifications Experience operating a forklift. At least 1 year of experience working in a warehouse. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred Skills Experience leading a team. Experience with inventory or clerical work. Shift Night shift 6:55pm to 7:00am. Pay $20 to $21.65 per hour, based on experience.
