Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Clinical Team Lead to join our vibrant healthcare team. Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership, guidance, and support to therapists, assessors, and clinical staff.
• Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments, diagnostic evaluations, biopsychosocial assessments, and risk assessments as assigned.
• Review assessment findings and make recommendations regarding diagnosis, treatment planning, level of care, and service eligibility.
• Assign referrals and caseloads to clinicians based on experience, specialty, productivity, and program needs.
• Meet regularly with clinical staff to discuss case progress, treatment barriers, client outcomes, and continuity of care.
• Offer clinical consultation and support regarding crisis situations, high-risk clients, treatment interventions, and ethical concerns.
• Review assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries, and clinical reports to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance.
• Monitor documentation timeliness and ensure all records meet Medicaid, DBHDD, CARF, DFCS, and agency standards.
• Conduct routine chart audits and provide feedback, coaching, and corrective action recommendations as needed.
• Assist with onboarding, training, and ongoing development of clinical staff.
• Facilitate clinical team meetings, case staffing meetings, and clinical consultations.
• Monitor clinician productivity, service delivery expectations, and client engagement.
• Collaborate with schools, DFCS, courts, hospitals, referral sources, and community partners to support coordinated care.
• Assist with quality improvement initiatives, program development, and audit preparation activities.
• Ensure treatment plans reflect medical necessity, measurable goals, and appropriate clinical interventions.
• Support clinicians in developing effective treatment strategies, discharge planning, and step-down recommendations.
• Monitor high-risk cases and ensure appropriate safety planning, follow-up, and documentation occur.
• Assist leadership with implementing agency policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Address clinical performance concerns through coaching, mentoring, and performance improvement planning when necessary.
• Maintain knowledge of state, federal, Medicaid, and accreditation requirements affecting behavioral health services.
• Participate in leadership meetings and provide recommendations to improve clinical operations, staff performance, and client outcomes.
• Serve as a resource and mentor to team members while fostering a culture of professionalism, accountability, collaboration, and clinical excellence.

Requirements

• LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent independent licensure.
• CPCS preferred.
• Minimum 3 years post-licensure experience.
• Experience in school-based, outpatient, CORE, IFI, or community behavioral health services.
• Strong knowledge of Medicaid and DBHDD requirements.
