Certified Respiratory Therapist

Role Overview This position involves providing comprehensive respiratory care utilizing critical thinking skills developed through education and experience. A Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) demonstrates competence by passing NBRC examinations and applying expertise to patient care. Key Responsibilities Assess and develop individualized care plans for patients Implement and evaluate treatment strategies Administer prescribed medications Educate patients, families, and caregivers about health management Participate in initiatives aimed at improving healthcare delivery Collaborate and communicate effectively with healthcare team members Provide clinical leadership and support ongoing learning Achieve assigned goals and contribute to team efforts Qualifications & Skills Current state license and CRT credential Recent clinical respiratory care experience in hospital, home care, or skilled nursing settings Basic computer proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office; experience with EPIC and DME devices is preferred CPR/BLS certification within two weeks of hire Successful completion of entry-level respiratory therapist exam; ABG endorsement if applicable #J-18808-Ljbffr Aura Health
