Platform Engineer (Azure / DevOps)

Experience: 5–7 years Location: Cincinnati (Onsite preferred) or Nearshore Canada

Role Summary

We are seeking a Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable cloud platforms with a strong focus on Azure, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD automation. This role supports application teams by enabling reliable, secure, and efficient cloud-native environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage cloud infrastructure on Azure
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform (MANDATORY)
• Build and support CI/CD pipelines for application and platform deployments
• Manage containerized workloads using Kubernetes (EKS experience required)
• Support platform services including cloud storage, networking, and security
• Enable CRUD-based service deployments and integrations
• Partner with DevOps, application, and SRE teams to improve reliability and delivery speed
• Troubleshoot platform, pipeline, and deployment issues across environments

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–7 years of experience as a Platform / DevOps / Cloud Engineer
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Cloud
• Terraform (must-have, hands-on production experience)
• CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar)
• Kubernetes & container platforms (EKS required; AKS is a plus)
• Experience with cloud storage, networking, and IAM concepts
• Working knowledge of CRUD-based APIs/services
• Scripting experience (Bash, Python, or similar)
