Receiving Clerk - Full Time

Paid time off is earned according to the local policy and increases with the length of employment. Responsibilities Maintains requisition files to ensure receipts are accurately recorded. Verifies vendor invoices for accuracy. Notes and reconciles all discrepancies. Records damaged products and notifies the proper department of the corrective action required. Coordinates deliveries and stocking of receipts with Manager. Labels all receipts for delivery and ensures signed delivery copies are returned to warehouse. Inspects goods and informs Manager of any problems. Processes all incoming and outgoing United Parcel Service, USPS, and FedEx items. Checking in, stocking and delivering Food & Beverage goods. Places liquors, fruits, glassware, linen, silverware, paper supplies and sundries in their designated places following established storage guidelines and safety procedures in the bar. Operates and maintains all bar equipment and utensils as required in accordance with established guidelines and safety procedures. Removes and properly disposes of all debris accumulated around the property as needed and in accordance with department procedures. Wipes bar counter areas, sinks and floors as required to maintain a clean and safe workstation. Maintains cleanliness of designated areas as directed in accordance with established health and safety standards for the bar and warehouse/receiving dock. Assists in banquet set‑up and tear down of fixtures, furniture, and equipment as needed. Adheres to scheduling and coordinates with manager any scheduling concerns, with attention to guest satisfaction. Responsible for promptly notifying leadership of any issues that may arise. Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. Responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management. Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters. Requirements Must be at least 21 years of age. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have proficient communication skills, both verbal and written. Must have Microsoft Office knowledge (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.). Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Must be able to read and interpret plans and specifications. Must maintain a valid driver’s license in your state of residence and maintain a clean driving record. Must have driver’s license on their person at all times. Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
