Travel Registered Nurse – Cardiac Stepdown (IMC/PCU)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract – Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend | 72 Hours Biweekly Guaranteed | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide total patient care for cardiac stepdown patients in a 31-bed unit
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4 to 1:6 throughout the shift
• Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and patient management
• Adhere to unit protocols during night shift hours, including every other weekend coverage
• Float to other units as required based on facility needs

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification with all ALC modules completed
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a stepdown, IMC, or PCU setting
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a cardiac or stepdown environment
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR
