Tech - Cath Lab/EP

Job Summary:
The Radiologic Technologist in the Cath Lab/EP department provides advanced imaging services to support cardiac and vascular procedures. They collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate imaging for diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures using state-of-the-art equipment.

• Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and ensuring comfort and safety.

• Operate imaging modalities such as fluoroscopy, X-ray, and angiography to assist physicians during procedures.

• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment to ensure optimal functioning.

• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain sterile techniques throughout procedures.

• Document imaging results accurately and assist with patient care documentation.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current ARRT RT(R) credential; Radiologic Technologist (RTR) preferred.

• Possess an unencumbered Oregon license in Radiologic Technology.

• Maintain Healthcare Provider BLS certification.

• Hold AHA ACLS certification.

• Have at least one year of experience or training in a Cath Lab or Angio hospital setting preferred.
