As a Security Officer in Shippingport, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location as a Front Desk Officer, where you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor entry activity, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. In this stationary role, you will help to deter security-related incidents while representing a caring, reliable, and professional team that values integrity, agility, innovation, and teamwork.

Pay Rate: $15.42 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by greeting visitors, assisting employees and guests at the front desk, and carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies for a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor access to the lobby and reception area, verify visitor information, issue visitor credentials, and help to deter unauthorized entry through attentive front desk presence.
• Answer phones, manage incoming inquiries, and support sign-in and sign-out activity for visitors, vendors, deliveries, and/or contractors in accordance with site guidelines.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Maintain front desk logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while communicating clearly with Allied Universal, site contacts, and/or local authorities as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
