- Serve as Technical Team Lead, guiding and mentoring a team of developers and engineers.
- Design, develop, and implement scalable data processing solutions using Azure Databricks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Oversee the entire development lifecycle, including planning, design, deployment, and maintenance of data solutions.
- Conduct code reviews, ensuring code quality and compliance with industry best practices.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies related to Azure Databricks and data engineering.
- Facilitate effective communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to align project goals.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to project delivery and team performance.
- Utilize strong expertise in Azure Databricks, Spark, Python/Scala/SQL, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
- Lead multiple technical projects simultaneously and drive successful project delivery.
- Apply knowledge of Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL Database, and cloud-based data storage.
- Leverage additional skills in Azure DevOps, machine learning frameworks, data governance, and compliance (preferred).
- Demonstrate excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Meet qualifications including a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, 7-10 years relevant experience, and (preferably) Azure/data engineering certifications.
