Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist to support our client's healthcare facility in Yorktown Heights, NY.

Job Details: Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:30 PM; rotational Saturdays, 8:00 AM-1:00 PM, at the Mt. Kisco location Location: Yorktown Heights, NY 10598 Float / Coverage Area: Yes, occasional travel to local draw stations such as Katonah, NY and Briarcliff, NY Job Type: Local Contract Contract Length: 14 weeks Pay Range: $21.00 to $23.00/hour on W2 Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.

Duties:

• Draw blood from pediatric through geriatric patients while ensuring patient comfort and specimen collection accuracy.
• Process laboratory specimens by verifying patient identifiers, applying barcodes, centrifuging, pouring off, and accessioning samples.
• Prepare packing lists and package specimens for reference laboratories while maintaining appropriate temperature requirements.
• Follow established phlebotomy standard operating procedures and OSHA safety guidelines, including proper use of personal protective equipment.
• Maintain specimen integrity, patient safety, and reliable service across assigned draw stations.

Requirements:

• Years of experience: Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience
• Certification(s): Phlebotomy certification preferred
• Skills/Specialties/Technology: Blood collection across all age groups, specimen processing, patient identification, specimen packaging, OSHA safety procedures, and Epic knowledge preferred

Additional Information:

• Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs
• Travel: Occasional travel to local draw stations for coverage; multiple locations may be required during a shift
• Interview: In-person interview with the direct supervisor
