Testing Lead

Electrical Testing Lead | Commerce City, CO or customer site The Company: Confidential client, a company that tests, diagnoses and repairs transformers and switchgear for utility and industrial customers. The Role: Hands‑on electrical testing of transformers, switchgear and circuit breakers, split between the Commerce City facility and customer sites. Real diagnostic and repair responsibility, not bench-only. What You'll Do: Run testing per work order: turns ratio, insulation resistance, winding resistance, power factor, no load/full load, hi-pot, contact resistance Diagnose and troubleshoot transformer and switchgear issues, make repairs and check connections as needed Test ATS, VFI, breakers and program relays (a plus, not required) Write test reports and flag issues to your supervisor Operate forklifts and other industrial equipment safely within load/capacity limits Work outdoors and in harsh conditions when assignments call for it Must-Haves: 2+ years hands‑on electrical testing of transformers, switchgear and circuit breakers HS diploma/GED Comfortable with hand and power tools and general electrical equipment Able to work independently with minimal supervision Able to pass background check, Wonderlic, workers' comp history check and drug screen Nice-to-Haves: First Aid/CPR, AED, OSHA 10 Relay programming experience Compensation & Benefits: $30 to $60/hour depending on experience.
